It really is!
But it is kind of hard to explain without actually doing the entire process in front of you, sooooo, I made a video.
Enjoy.
Three things:
- At 0:28, I sound like this perfect little homemaker that just, you know, throws together a dress here and a headband there - no big deal. Actually, no. I am not one of those people. Someday, I hope to be, but, as of today, I have one home-made dress and one home-made headband to my name.
- At 2:43 and 3:59, I did, in fact, continue to make one or two more loops, but I was just boring and quiet, so I cut those sections out for the final edit.
- Despite all appearances to the contrary, I am wearing shorts in the second section. I promise.
I was "totally confuzzled" by the end, I couldn't get my hair to twist around my headband - maybe it's just too short? Plus the whole result on my hair really accented my bald spot at the crown, so I'm gonna put this one in the category of better left for others to try. Hello girlie! I love you!
ReplyDeleteI was sitting here thinking "I'm going to try this tomorrow morning!" But then you showed the curls from sleeping on it wet and I'm so stoked! Just got out of a bath and I'm going to go try this! :) My only "criticism" is that it sounded like maybe a fan or something was on in the background and it was a little distracting and to speak up a bit - you're doing great and it was easy to follow and understand what to do! :) <3 Katie (@maraandme)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes I know this was posted awhile back but I'm a little slow on the uptake here hahaha!
Deletegreat job on your how to video! I love this hairstyle! its so easy and pretty fast when you're not having to explain every step to someone! lol. I think my hair needs to be a little bit longer to keep the back secured well. Love your lace headband too. Lace is such a feminine touch and goes with just about everything. love you friend! <3
